The historical origins of white deer are unclear, but they were probably native to Persia and can be classified as Cervus elaphus maral, a subspecies of Caucasian deer. Their white coat colour is caused by a genetic mutation rather than albinism. White deer do not live in the wild in the Czech Republic, only in a few fenced areas. They were introduced to Bohemia around 1780, when breeding farms were established on the estates of noble families. We are proud to offer this exclusive hunting experience to our guests. You will find a description of one hunting area in the attached PDF. Prices are available on request and are subject to very limited availability
